Tri-Boro Animal Welfare is a private, non profit, volunteer, animal welfare/adoption organization serving Butler, New Jersey and its surrounding communities since 1974. We pride ourselves on the personal care we give each animal. Tri-Boro Animal Welfare offers both dogs and cats for adoption. Our adoption program seeks to match the adopter and the animal so that the relationship will be mutually beneficial and endure for the lifetime of the dog or cat.

Please note: Tri-Boro Animal Welfare underwent organizational changes in 2011. As a result, the Kinnelon branch of Tri-Boro Animal Welfare is now a separate organization called Kinnelon Volunteer Animal Shelter. Both organizations are operating as they have for over 30 years, but are no longer affiliated.

Adoptions
Our regularly scheduled pet adoptions are every Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Butler Shelter which is located at 12 Belleview Ave., Butler, NJ 07405 (corner of Belleview Ave. and Boonton Ave.) or by appointment. Please call 973-831-5555.

COCO
On April 30th, one of our "stars", Coco, had her first photo shoot. Coco, a beautiful lab mix, was selected to model at a local photo studio for their client, Sure-Fit. Her experience was filled with much excitement, new smells, noises, and people and was quite an adventure for her. We're told she was very well behaved during all this novelty! GUINNESS
Guinness is a one and a half year old lab/bullmastiff mix who recently joined us. He might be large in size, but he is also large in heart. Read more about Guinness here and be sure to stop by to meet this "stout" guy!
MANDY
Mandy is one of our adoptable cats. She is an extremely friendly and sweet girl. She has a darling face and a compact body. She would make a great addition to your family. Read more about Mandy and stop by during Adoption Hours to meet this little lady.
